AS ONE OF THE FIVE PRESTIGIOUS MAGIC CIRCLE LAW FIRMS, OUR CLIENT EXCELS IN HELPING TO SOLVE SOME OF THE BIGGEST GLOBAL ORGANISATIONS’ MOST COMPLEX CHALLENGES.
With a commitment to build on the firm’s long history of thinking ahead, nurturing a modern, inclusive culture for their people is critical.
With over 5,000 people globally, what does it take to create meaningful cultural change?
Given the long-term, systemic nature of enabling cultural change, our first focus was to set expectations and help prepare them for the challenging journey ahead.
Working closely with a senior working group, we set clear objectives and designed a programme that benefited from broad representation from across the business and that remained sensitive to the intense working patterns of colleagues globally.
The key was to help their people understand the urgent need to address serious risks and combat strategic challenges in a positive, proactive way. We promoted the programme as an opportunity to build the future legacy of the organisation. A chance to work seamlessly across borders to identify the behaviours needed to underpin the desired culture, and highlight what needed to change in the business to make these behaviours a reality.
To drive engagement and celebrate participation we developed a comprehensive set of digital and print resources including leader cascade briefings, newsletters and video content.
Whilst the firm has a seen positive results to date, with the Financial Times amongst numerous media recognising the positive steps taken, we continue to consult with the HR Leadership team to ensure that their journey progresses and is monitored and reviewed regularly.
