TRAVELCUBE, A RETAIL TRAVEL BOOKING BRAND, WAS LOOKING TO PROMOTE ITS NEWLY ACQUIRED PORTFOLIO OF BEACH PROPERTIES TO TRAVEL AGENTS AND BROKERS ACROSS EUROPE.
This came after a significant acquisition and therefore there was a desire to show ROI as soon as possible.
This meant letting their customers know about the new range and to encourage them to drive beach bookings.
We worked with TravelCube to explore creative ways to engage travel agents using methods they may not be used to.
We decided to make use of the ‘quieter’ month of December to create an interactive game where players were challenged to find a hidden ‘passport’ across 6 beach scenes (these were real TravelCube locations).
To increase the fun, and pressure, each level got progressively harder and the player only had 10 seconds to complete each stage. “Where’s my Passport?” players were also competing for prize: a trip for 2 to Dubai.
Every player that found all 6 passports was entered into a random draw and given an extra entry when they shared with a friend (to encourage spread).
